Before enlightenment: chop wood carry water, after enlightenment: chop wood carry water.
Pay attention to those who take all the praise easily, though rejects all projections, comments and opinions that come to their field. Not all projections are wrong- if you allow yourself to excercise healthy refinement processes.

A group of people were caught in a storm at sea. Everyone on the boat was crying, shouting prayers, begging God to save them. But one man sat quietly, calm and still—he didn’t pray or panic.

Someone asked him, “Why aren’t you praying like the rest of us?”

He replied,

“I prayed long ago, and I trust the One I prayed to.”
